Hi! My name is Shauna & this is my journey on Living Brave….
I have had many titles in life….Mom,(of two amazing sons,Austin, and Caleb) Wife, Sister, Friend, Mentor, Kayaker, Life Coach, Marriage Specialist,
Mrs.Doolittle,(l talk to animals), Skydiver, and many more..

The one title I never thought I would have is Widow!! Yes!!,I am a 49 year old/young widow.Still hard to believe it..

My husband of nearly 30 years passed away from a battle with kidney cancer in June of 2013. He lived 4 1/2 years beyond what the doctors said. He was my Superman!!

I’ve Learned to Live Brave through the Beautiful Gift of his amazing life and journey. His name was Buddy Hoffman.
Of course my Loving Heavenly Father has held my hand every step of the way.

Living Brave has been one of the scariest and most rewarding challenges of my life.

Overcoming fears that were debilitating….by facing them!
One of the first ones was loosing my husband ,(Best Friend), who’s in Heaven cheering me on…

(Heb. 12:1″Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us,”)

Six months later I was asked to speak at an annual Christmas Dinner, little did I know that there would be over 300 people, including men.
I was terrified!! You know one of the biggest fears in the world is public speaking…Through much prayer and encouragement.. I said yes! I got amazing feedback on many touched hearts. The scripture that helped me most was Proverbs 3:5 “TRUST in the Lord with ALL your heart…..”
Oh! Did I tell you that one of my husbands many visions was seeing me speak to hundreds of people? Facing that fear made me Braver for the next challenge….tune in….
I Promise if you Trust,Pray, and Seek God you can overcome any fears that your facing in 2015.

One of my favorite quotes…What if I fall? OH my darling what if you FLY?
This is the year that I am asking God to never let us miss an opportunity that He has for us.

As a Life Coach I have my clients keep a journal on facing fears and how they overcome…When they reflect back it is very empowering!
