Lately I have been reminded that God, in His grace, reveals to heal.

God in His unfathomable love and His endless kindness invites us to go deeper still.  It is an invitation — we get to choose. Some of us don’t answer, some say maybe, some say no and same say YES!

And as we say YES to a journey to know Him more – we end us knowing our true selves more.

We find our true identity- not in what we do, or in what degree we pursue, or in our family, our salary, our past, our position or anything else but in Christ alone!

A few things I have found to be true:

-God works in layers. Just like an onion – He deals with us one layer at a time. With each layer may come some tears. The first time someone said this to me I was super annoyed! haha. I didn’t really want a process.. I wanted to get it all over at once… but now I understand a little more and I am very grateful that we do not have to deal with things all at once! God’s knows we couldn’t handle it. We need time. We can trust Him though the process! It’s a marathon not a sprint, eh? His grace is sufficient for us!

-God reveals to heal!  God is good.. He is loving and He is kind. He shows us areas in our lives that we are not whole in or walking freely in.. areas that are in need of His healing… not to expose us and make us feel bad but to make us more like Him. He always wants more for His kids. Just like we wouldn’t want our kids to go untreated from a broken bone or an illness.. God wants our hearts to be whole, He desires us to be healthy!

-My story is not just about me. There is always a bigger picture. God can use anything from our lives. As we become more and more aware of our own story and experience healing, freedom from shame and sin & as we become more aware of our identity God can and will use us in the lives around us! He sets us free that we may set others free! We can only lead others as far as we are willing to go.

Not sure where you are on the journey. But If I can encourage you .. BE BRAVE and say YES to God. Trust Him to do what you cannot do for yourself! Accept His invitation to know Him more and receive His grace that cannot be earned or deserved but is given freely!

Don’t wait for the “perfect” moment  or until you feel like you are “acceptable” to approach God… He loves you no matter what! Nothing can separate you from His Love! You don’t need to have all the answers – He does! All we need is willingness – God can do so much with willing people! You can simply talk to Him – He already knows you and sees you!

Invite others to join you in your process… we weren’t made to go on the the journey alone.

Don’t Give Up! You are More than a Conquerer!!!

“No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”  Romans 8: 37-39
